Prof. Andrea Giovanardi, lawyer, graduated with full marks and honours in business economics from Luigi Bocconi University in Milan, and then also in law. He is a certified public accountant, auditor and lawyer authorised to practice before the higher courts. He has carried out his work as a professional with leading firms, and spent over twenty years at the law firm of Prof. Loris Tosi, lawyer, where he was in charge of the Vicenza office which he established.

Andrea Giovanardi has been registered with the Register of Public Accountants and Accounting Professionals of Vicenza since 1995, the Register of Auditors since 1995 and the Law Society Register since 2015.

He obtained a doctorate in tax law from the University of Pavia and is Professor of tax law at the University of Trento. He teaches both in the law department and the economy and management department, where he was degree course director in economics and business legislation from 2011-2012 to 2019-2020. He also taught tax law at the University of Bolzano from 2016 to 2019. He has published approximately 80 papers in the main journals in the sector and three monographs, in addition to numerous editorials in leading Italian newspapers. He has been a speaker at numerous conventions, continuing education classes and training schools.
He is a member of the Accademia Olimpica.
He is a member of the board of directors of the Milano Cortina Foundation which is organising the 2026 Winter Olympics and also deputy chairperson of Cassa del Trentino S.p.a.

In addition to his scientific, teaching and professional activities, he also engages in important official work. On numerous occasions he has spoken before parliamentary commissions in his position as an expert. Since 2017, he has been a member of the delegation negotiating for the autonomy of the Veneto Region; in 2021, he formed part of the inter-ministerial commission of Cananea and, in 2022, the subsequent small working group to rewrite rules and regulations on legal issues and tax proceedings. He is a member of the committee created to identify the essential levels of services, established by the Italian Prime Minister, for Ministers and the standard requirement technical commission established with the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
In 2023, he established Studio Giovanardi, Legale e Tributario.
